This service will disable the immobiliser function in the ECU and allow the engine to start when there are problems with the BSI or keys, and the padlock is displayed in the cluster. After the bypass, the engine will start; however, the padlock lamp will still be illuminated when there are other related immobiliser issues in the vehicle. This is not an MOT failure.

This service is provided with a 12-month warranty for the work we perform. We do not offer a full comprehensive ECU test; our testing provides certainty about the ability to start the engine when all other components and circuits are in the correct state.
